I finished this one it's been a bit of a pain working with the pul(it's waterproof fabric)I have lined it with toweling it's not perfect I have made a few mistakes but it's useable I am hoping the more I make the better they will get.i am going to change my machine foot now I have found the walking foot as Sarah suggested see how it goes.xx

It's a great first attempt, I like the pattern of the fabric, when I was trying to buy it for Alia they only had it in plain colours, i think just white and mint green. They did do little packs for making diaper covers that were in really nice patterns but I wanted a big piece for a large changing mat.
I have heard you should use a jersey or ball point needle in a size 70/11 and polyester thread to help it not leak through the holes made when sewing.

Well done lisa, my daughter Ruth used those for niamh, but we purchased them years ago. Pul was only available in white then
Are you finding it cheaper to make them ? I made liners for Niamh using minky fabric
