A few more places I've remembered - Loveknitting.com - Deramores.com and Laughinghens.com. All for knitting and crochet accessories, wool and patterns.

UKhandknitting.com is a good source of info for what is going on in the knitting world and where you can find a local knitting group.

I like:

Magazines with 'freebie' cover gifts
Charity Shops (so's I feel less guilty about the money I spend on magazines)
Create and Craft (IF they've got an offer through the magazines)
Hobbycrafts and local craft shops whenever I pop in, especially, SALE lines (see Charity shops) - my favourite 4-letter word!!
