This delightful birthday card can be made in just a few easy steps.



Step 1

Open up the card blank, hold it landscape and score the inside of the front of the card at 3.5 and 4 cm from the fold to create two raised lines on the front of the card.

Step 2

Cut strips of several coordinating papers into varying widths. Stick Washi tape onto scraps of card and cut into strips. Cut a V shape into one end of each strip, either by hand or using a square or hexagon punch. Lay out strips next to each other and arrange so that they fill the entire width of the card front, trimming the width or adding another strip if necessary. Trim strips to varying lengths and stick to the card front immediately below the bottom score line.

Tie a length of baker’s twine round the card front between the score lines and add a peel-off sentiment.
