I have loved crafting and art since my father taught me how to draw in perspective when I was 11 years old. I retired at the age of 58, that was 10 years ago and I have been crafting and painting most every day since then.

I also do woodwork in my cabin at the bottom of the garden. The crafts I do are painting on wood, hard shell gourds and cypress knees (a wood root from the cypress tree in the swamps of south Carolina in the United States of America). Making wood puzzles and boxes with my bandsaw and scroll saw. Sewing soft toys. Making quilts, crocheting and knitting, and preserving and freezing the vegtables and fruit from the garden and orchard.

I am 68 years old and live in a lovely village on the top of the north downs in Kent with my husband , the son and two daughters have flown the nest.

I am self taught in all my crafts, learning from my collection of books.
