I had a great time at Stamperama! I'd arranged to meet up with one of my online crafty friends, Shabneez, and amazingly spotted her within two minutes, without having to text her. We had a good old chinwag and did a bit of shopping and one of the free Make and Takes - an Alice in Wonderland easel card on the Dolly Dimples stand, then some more shopping, and then met up with another online friend, Glynis, who I didn't know was going and who actually recognised me from my Facebook pic! We sat and chatted with her and her husband so long I nearly had to run for my train.
I mostly kept to my shopping list this time. I wanted some masks and stencils, got 4 for a tenner, and some burgundy card, couldn't find quite the shade I wanted but two were fairly close so I bought both 😳 . We were all looking for the new Distress Oxide inks from Tim Holtz and Shabneez had been playing with them at another stand, so the mission was to find a bargain. They are normally £5.95 but I spotted them at £4.95 so we just had to buy a few. I was quite restrained with just Peeled Paint and Cracked Pistachio! I also bought a couple of stamps even through I kept saying I really didn't need any - but at £2 each it was rude not to 🤣 And some tape at 10 rolls for £4 just jumped into my hands.

Sounds like you had a great day and got some bargains. How nice that you got to meet up with some online friends too. how is the distress oxide different to their usual ink. I have some ink like that it looks a bit distressed anyway, at least it does when I use it 😁 What kind of tape was it? the pretty patterned type? From the picture it looks a bit like the thin tape you use for masking off stripes.

I haven't had a chance to play with the distress oxides yet but from what I saw in the demos they react when you spritz them with water to make some interesting backgrounds. I'll show you when I make something! The tape is just double sided sticky tape, the red is the backing strip, I get through yards of it so just had to stock up at that price 😁
