I made my bunting..got loads from one pillowcase..it wasn't very fancy but it did the job...I used to have crochet bunting up which was owls and flowers but someone begged to buy it last year..I'd used it 3 years..I told them that but they still offered me ten pounds so I let it go..

Sounds like you had a good deal there 3 years use and still a sale. ... How much did your crocheted owl bags sell for? I bet they went fast.

Thank you Purple Liza and Serendipity2. I've found some more vintage fabric in my local charity shop all extremely good quality vintage pillow cases. I'm not sure if I'm going to use them as pillow cases or make them into more bunting at some point but they've been added to my stash for now.

I also have some more vintage linens and embroidery pieces that I've sorted out the good ones from the ones that are stained or have holes in them. The tattie ones are now ready to be cut up and remade into new items. Some bits will go into my patchwork cushion for my window seat, and some will be made into more bunting. Thing is it will all have to wait till that conservatory is completed as the sewing machines had to be put away as they were getting in the way of the work we are doing in there.
