Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I really want to do a corner to corner blanket but all the stuff I find is in US terms but someone today recommended Bella Coco on YouTube so going to try that and hopefully I'll have something to show soon.

Pink puppy - I learnt a little bit a couple of years ago (granny square and an owl) but was determined that now I can't work that I would learn so got out my books and tried again. I also go to a crochet group each week if I'm well enough and if I'm stuck on anything they or my friend who is a whizz helps.

Well done on your makes.

If you have a list of US and UK equivalent you could rewrite the pattern to suit yourself

Well done, Snoopy!
I am amazed!!!
I have been crocheting for years, and haven't been half as ambitious nor as adventurous as you!!
You make me feel SO lazy!!
😁

I have a piece of finer crochet.....very wide table cloth edging that tookme over 13 years to make...took it with me when I lived in Germany, and then emigrated to Canada, then back t England...good thing I boought al the cotton to complete right at the beginning...it is now back in my large cabin trunk which has also travelled with me and right across Canada etc....so could tell a few stories........
