Liz made a lovely labrador for me,so I have written the following...as soon as can fix camera will put a photo on. In he meantime here is my poem.

THE WIZARD
I love to learn new tricks and plots
I'm ready when they call the shots,
I go with Shawn on shooting days
To flush the birds where they do graze.

I wait on working days, but ready
Told to go......oh boy am ready.
I'll leap fences, bushes too,
If that is what I'm told to do.
Pheasants, boy so fast they fly
You bet they do when I come by.
I hear the guns, I keep away
I've had enough for one more day.

In leisure time I like to be
Around my mate. His name Billi.
Now Billi is my cousin yes.
Little older, did you guess?
But we play fight...that is fun.
Neither hurts the other one.
Shawn teaches tricks, oh tricks galore
(Am sure that's what humans are for).
We love our special evening treat.
For work well done...a day complete.
What is it? Oh forgot to say..
Pigs ears of course for a good day.
Shawn takes us out and teaches us
New tricks..he never makes a fuss.
So, end of day am rather tired.

Merlin on the Left, Billi on the right.

They tend to sit on the same side of each other. Not sure why.
