I've finally got round to starting an art journal: here's the first page I've finished (there are a few more on the go and the cover is a WIP)

So pretty, except the butterflies of course LOL 😁 😉 ..

Funny thing, my granddaughter Alia loves animals and has a great big book about them, it's a bit old for her really but the photos of the animals are so good that she loves just looking at the animals and asks me to tell her about them, and then she remembers for next time and tells everyone she can about them. One day though she stares in horror at the book and says in disgust ''what is that?" I look and I said it's a butterfly, a bit confused as to why she would ask about a butterfly which she surely knew. She said "yeah but look at it" ... I peep again not really wanting to look because it's a butterfly standing with it's wings both right up against each other so you could clearly see the bug part of it beneath the wings. She was horrified at how 'bug' like it was beneath the pretty wings. She now seems to have the same aversion to them as I do, although I have always hidden my phobia from her so as to not pass it on. She then went and got a few sticky notes and has carefully covered up the picture so she can't accidentally see it next time she looks at the book.... A budding crafter I think 😁

I have gathered all the things together to start a bullet journal, now I just need the time, which is ironic because I would like to start it so that I can organise my time and use it better and hopefully find some time for crafting.
