Hello. ☀️
Happy Mother’s Day to all. 💐
It’s a strange one this year not visiting mum or having Sarah and Chloe round, but we’re not taking any chances.
Hope everyone’s enjoying a relaxing Sunday.
It’s back to my cuppa and knitting now.
Take Care all. x

Happy mother’s day ladies , my son drove 60 miles to hand in flowers and a card , stood outside 2mitres away from me so sad , my eldest daughter also came and stayed outside and Ruth sent her hubby with sweets and afternoon tea from the local hotel , he rang the bell and handed it to my hubby . We all must just make the best of it .

I have a cough and sore throat and it hurts to cough so I will phone the triage facility in the morning , hopefully they will be able to help .

How are you all , when are you due back to work Tracey ?

Sorry to hear your not feeling to good liz keep us informed what they say tomorrow. 😘. Thanks for the message Tracey I am still doing ok I did write a long message a couple of days ago but lost it. I have been keeping myself busy and and cooking and knitting a cowl for Ethan for when he goes out in the park Jade and liz send lots of photos and messages. Mark and Sally Ann send lots of messages too. Sally Ann has to go by our place on her way to and from work and drops things off to our place on to the front door. Lots of people in the lane offering phone numbers if we need help. Sainsbury’s have prioritised us if we want to get our food delivery on line. And our local shop just need ringing up if we run out of anything and will deliver it to the door.. I hope I don’t loose this posting. Linda x

Linda - Lovely to see you here. Sounds like you’re keeping yourself really busy which is great. Good to hear communities are coming together to help each other.
Liz - Sorry to hear you’re unwell. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I’m back to work on 30th March. Although my Jay was off with me last week, he’s due back tomorrow. However he has been told to self isolate as he is 71. He is going to find out what’s happening properly from work tomorrow. So will have to wait and see.
Lisa - like you, I’ve been getting shopping for my mum and brother as they aren’t going out. Although my brother set mum up online. They have a delivery coming tomorrow. Mum also had a priority delivery slot which is great.
Take Care everyone. x

Hi ladies
Nice to hear you are all doing well and adapting ok. Hope you feel better soon Liz.
We had a nice weekend did some gardening, sat outside to have cups of tea, watched tv and greg and i made an apple pie yesterday which was lovely. We have a gym at home too so we can keep fit. We went for a walk with Zoe too as we have a quiet beach right at the end of our street it does you so much good to be in nature.
All of our cafes, restaurants, cinemas are closed now except for take away at the cafes and restaurants. I feel for those people. This will hurt them. I did pop to the library today as that will close this week. They only let a few people in at a time and the were sanitizing the book covers. They are letting you borrow for 3 months too so ive plenty to read as well as digitial reading.
Our supermarkets are improving too now but we don't have to go now again till Saturday so its home all week and im happy. My dad still says he's going to the supermarket every day but now his favorite cafe is shut. He keeps saying he is healthy so he wont get it 🙄.
I had a hairdresser appnt but ive cancelled it. Greg is going to trim it for me. I trust him 😀😀.
Off to crochet a bit.
Have a nice day xx

Hello. ☀️
Weekend was good. Seems odd Chloe not coming for her regular Friday night sleepovers. We are just all taking precautions and being extra careful. No point in taking any risks. Better to be as safe as possible we feel.
It’s another sunny day. Nothing to report here. Housework done. Just have the last of the washing in. Then it’s an afternoon of knitting/crochet.
Lindsey - Sounds like you had a lovely weekend too.
Liz - Hope you’re feeling a little better today.
Take Care everyone. x

Hi everyone, I got a telephone consultation this morning and I have been prescribed another course of antibiotics and another suspension for my oral thrush . The chemist can’t deliver till Friday and so I hope my son in law can get my prescription after work tonight . I feel a bit miserable

I was due to get new sofas tomorrow but got phone call this morning to say no deliveries due to Coronavirus , they are lying in shop and paid for so disappointing . Fortunately my other sofas are still here they would have gone yesterday if i had felt better 😲

It’s great to see so many folk chatting in last 24 hours , Lisa hope you cope with helping everyone self isolating

I am away to prepare veg for broth , no crafting to speak about , stay safe

Morning all, I love all the good news about everybody helping each other, And the good ideas to keep your self occupied . I am glad to hear you are getting some more antibiotics liz. Hope you feel better keep busy . I am going to make a big bread pudding delias recipe. Just like my mum used to make I am not wasting any food if I have oranges left I freeze them for later . For mother’s day one of my presents was a motorised coin sorter that I can make, so I have that to keep me occupied,

I am now knitting a cowl for Ethan to keep his neck warm when he goes out the park. So best start the day by getting dinner prepared and bread pudding made. What has your day planned for you. Linda x
