Does anyone have a solution for hiding all the cables if they have their telly on the wall ?
This has annoyed me for years and today I tried again to make the cables tidy , but apart from having someone in to put them down inside the wall is there another answer
I bought that hollow tracking to put on the wall but it’s self adhesive and not ideal either . Being confined to the house means it annoys me more 😩

We have the tv on the wall, and the sticky keeps coming off so John has left it like this ,

The other cable is an input cable, it doesn’t annoy him, but I don’t like it either. I love your solution Louise with the bird and leaves. Will have a look at those my self thanks. Linda x

This an idea I have seen on Facebook - lidded box, plastic or cardboard shoebox, -
lodged at back of TV, with holes cut for wires in-one-end-and-out- the other
and main mess hidden inside.

Might work?

I have one of those cable boxes maritrez I bought it in ikea as they have great ideas ,
but it doesn’t really solve all the cables coming down the wall , I have ordered a pack of those leaf cable clips that Louise suggested

I have the tv on the wall in the room I use for the children, that room has a lot of stuff in it and so looks very busy and I was able to put a set of matching boards on the wall (corkboard, white board, magnetic board and calendar) underneath the tv and let the wires get hidden between two of the boards taping them to sides. They are a lot less noticable though not a perfect answer. I was thinking if you have a mantelpiece below your tv how about a plant, real or fake that is just high enough and bushy enough for the wires to be hidden behind.

If John doesn't want to get the clips that Louise showed, Linda, you are excellent at painting, how about you paint your own bird disguise on the wall. If you wanted you could do it on paper or sticker paper rather than direct on the wall

Thank you for ideas Sarah , I can hide the cables on mantelpiece it’s the ones going to the socket which is the problem , ,
I have sent for the clips that louise suggested , I am now wondering if extra electric sockets is the way to go , however your idea for camouflage is unique .

well you wouldn't want boards like mine in your lounge but my room is an office come playroom with some crafting shelves thrown in so anything goes really. However I do think prominent placement of items does a lot to camouflage most things. Also don't forget there are cable pins you can buy so that you can pin the cable to run down the side of a piece of furniture or along the skirting board. Also a large glass vase with big hydrangea like flowers (you can get some really nice fake ones) and little pieces of furniture, small tables or a footstool can do wonders for covering up low level cables and sockets
