Coconut madeleines and jam and chocolate vermicelli decoration.

I only had 4 dariole moulds so used a cupcake tray as well.
The usual sponge mixture. 8oz self raising flour
7oz stork margarine
6oz sugar. 1 teaspoon of baking powder
3 eggs.

Grease and line dariole moulds. And grease cup cake tray. Bake for 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

Turn out and when really cool. Roll in melted jam and then roll in chocolate vermicelli. The Dariole shape roll in melted jam and then desiccated coconuts. Put cupcakes on a scewer when rolling in decoration. Same with the madeleines. I got real messy when doing it with my hands.

All ovens are different liz but I put mine in at 180c not fan assisted for 20minutes then I check on them with a knife every five minutes till the knife comes out clean. Yes they are just right with a cup of tea. The usual recipe is 8oz of each of the first 3ingrediants but I use those measurements I have put because I don’t like it sweet and it works for me.
