Catching up.
Harry, wearing his other checked shirt, with the last of the autumn crop.

These apples are always rather big and very sweet (I think)
We made apple and plum jam, Cinnamon apple butter (in two separate containers because Harry likes his even sweeter)
and a large one of straight stewed apple which we hope to use as apple sauce come Christmas.

We had a couple of tubloads of apples, like this and gave some to John and Jordanna (Linlithgow)
who visited and social-distanced in the garden before Level was upgraded, and we threw them at them.

John has been doing cooking since acting is in short supply, and his wife is still working at the Surgeons Hall in Edinburgh,
and they left pumpkin soup and pumpkin pie on our door step in exchange.
My share is in the pic!
