This is my favoured quilt to snuggle with on the sofa so when it really started to look poorly I couldn't part with it and instead, I used the lilac flowery cotton on one side and the old cotton doilies on the other. .
My youngest daughter who is in her 30s now said she remembers when it was used as a door curtain in the winter when she was little , now I had forgotten that lol. Memory quilt indeed !

The doily side is so unusual, the flowery side is lovely and as a quilt all in all I really like it. Linda x

Great way of using those doilies. I think a lot of people have a favourite blanket or quilt, just the right size and thickness. I gave a new one away because it was too heavy and I knew I couldn't get used to it. So much better to patch and repair what works.
