Christmas cactus has lived in the greenhouse all summer, we bought it in a week ago as it started to bud up again ready for its annual display, it was a little liddles purchase 3 years ago. Now it three times as big, I bought an acrer 20years ago. That was a Woolworths purchase. And now it’s one of the most brilliant bush/tree you could ever have. Here is the Christmas cactus.

I've had my Christmas cactus for about 50 years! The original plant was starting to fail so I took some cuttings a couple of years ago. I've also got an unusual cream one that was a cutting from mother in law. Both are a bit early this year.

I too had a Woolies acer for many years but sadly hubby moved the pot into an unsuitable place last winter and it died 😡

Carolyn they are so easy to. Take cuttings and grow aren’t they. I love your yellow one, I havnt seen that colour before. I have put 4 of the leaves in one pot as the cuttings and in a couple of years you get such a big plant. They take so easily. Thanks for your interest ladies , I love Christmas cactus.

acer’s are funny they don’t like being moved. We put ours in the garden where it would permantley live and all these years later it is. 15 feet tall.
